This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bail, or retrieve an official booking record.
Choose the Right Record Office
Use the home page for the complete released-person and records-request path. The Parole / Probation page covers supervision sources, while Released Last 24 Hours explains why ECSD has no public rolling list. State prisoners use MA DOC and VINELink. Federal prisoners use BOP, immigration custody uses ICE, and official criminal case papers come from the originating Trial Court clerk.
Essex Sheriff and Records
For a county booking or release, contact ECSD. Operational bail questions go to Records, while a written OMS release history or booking-photo request goes to the Records Access Officer.

Parole and Court Contacts
Parole office assignment follows the approved release address, not just an Essex conviction. Region 3 is in Lynn, while Central Office can identify the correct region. Probation records come from the court order and originating clerk.

Juvenile and Federal Routes
Northeast Youth Service Center is a Massachusetts DYS facility. Juvenile release information is not an adult public-search record and must go through authorized DYS, Juvenile Court, counsel, or family channels. Federal custody is separate: use the BOP locator for a federal inmate and the ICE Online Detainee Locator for eligible immigration custody records. The U.S. Marshals Service does not provide a public historical release locator like BOP.
